Stained glass window for a restaurant named The Reed, after tall grass that grows from a lake.
The window is located adjacent to the main staircase of it's building, and extends up three floors. At the lowest level, the theme is fauna and flora found underwater. As one climbs the stairs, the theme evolves to fauna and flora found above water and at higher elevations.
Here you see the principal drawings and a few photographs of the actual stained glass.
I also designed and painted a mural for this restaurant. The mural is located in the private dining area, and interacts with other features of the interior, to present the illusion that one is sitting in the midst of plants growing from a lake.
